In Home Tutoring

Philly tutors strive to be flexible, in order to most conveniently meet students' and parents' busy schedules. The location of the tutoring sessions can be at the students home, at a local library, school or other quiet working environment. Tutoring sessions can be scheduled as frequently as can be coordinated between the student and the tutor.

North Light Community Center

Philly Tutors offers effective and affordable tutoring in a variety of subjects at North Light located at 175 Green Lane in the Manayunk neighborhood. Philly Tutors SAT prep classes are offered year round at North Light.

SAT Prep

Philly Tutors offers a year round 8 session SAT prep class at North Light Community Center located at 175 Green Lane in the Manayunk neighborhood. During the 2 hour weekly class, the students rotate to two classrooms and are instructed by experienced Math and Critical Reading instructors. A college prep workshop is also offered free of charge.

Philly Tutors is committed to providing affordable tutoring, to suit the needs of all income levels. Hourly tutoring rates depend on the grade level, subject area, tutoring location, and the tutor's experience and expertise. Tutoring fees range from $20 - $50 per hour.
